Mario’s Italian Restaurant & Lounge: Delight in Authentic Italian Cuisine in Lake Havasu City

We came in for dinner on a Wednesday night, and the restaurant was already packed by 6:30 pm — we were lucky to get a table! We ordered both the vegetarian and seafood pizzas, which were super tasty with a great balance of toppings. For mains, we tried the spaghetti marinara — one with olive oil and one with a tomato-based sauce. My daughter and I preferred the olive oil version, while my husband enjoyed the tomato-based one. We also had a side of broccolini, which was cooked perfectly. Overall, a delicious and satisfying meal!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful Italian restaurant offering beautifully prepared dishes. The garlic prawns were perfectly cooked, the seafood pasta was rich and full of flavour, and the pizza was fresh, authentic, and delicious. The quality of the food and attention to detail truly stood out. A lovely dining experience that we would happily return to and recommend.

The Seafood Capri was nothing short of divine — a dish that lingers in your memory long after the last bite. Perfectly balanced in flavor, it showcased the ocean’s finest treasures: plump, sweet king prawns, delicately briny oysters, and silky smoked salmon. All of this was artfully layered over a bed of peppery rocket and toasted pine nuts, adding both depth and crunch. The crowning glory was the citrus ginger dressing — bright, zesty, and aromatic, it elevated every element to perfection. This wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience of elegance and indulgence.

Excellent food, friendly and efficient staff who found a table for us as walk-ins. It was inside near the back, very busy and noisy, but we didn’t mind too much that night as the meals were delicious: penne pasta, and fish of the day - salmon. Such an extensive menu it was hard to choose! We have booked in already for another dinner before we leave Surfers Paradise.

Walked in and was shown to my table. I ordered the Fettuccine Princess when the dish arrived I was not advised that it was made with spaghetti instead of the fettuccine but it still looked amazing and the flavours were bursting through the dish. It had a lovely creamy rose sauce with prawns and bacon. Other than the fettuccine not been the pasta in the dish it was fantastic. Looked around and the pizzas looked fantastic along with other dishes being bought out to guests. Service was also great. Would recommend you popping for a meal.

Had an amazing experience here, food came out in 20 mins around 1-2pm, the baby octopus was delicious best I’ve ever had and the oysters were so creamy and delicious. Shane waited our table and was so attentive, asking us how our meal was and if we needed wine, parmesan etc. such a stand up guy. He even helped us with a wine selection. (The wine was devine) Love this place, definitely coming back and recommending to friends and family. 10/10

My wife is a celiac and we have trouble finding places to eat. The team here understood what they needed to do and reassured us they would do their absolute best to support us. They did an amazing job. The food was awesome and the team were so accommodating. We will definitely return.

stopped in at Mario's with my 2 best friends on our girly weekend away. The food was lovely, the wine was lovely and we enjoyed our meals very much. I ordered a small pizza, couldn't finish it all but took the rest home and ate for dinner! I would happily eat here again when in Broadbeach next time.
